Chapter 2:The Lockup Talk
Continue what we left before.....
Haruto and Rinko stare at each another for a while before decided to breaking the ice by saying goodbye to her. “Well,bye.” stated Haruto after making eyes contact with Rinko. Rinko see Haruto is leaving the warehouse decided chase after him to make an introduce herself. “I'm Rinko Daimon .I'm a police office. Base how you handle those things early, I assume this isn't you first time run-in with them. Right?” ask Rinko to Haruto. Haruto then respond to Rinko's question by saying “You mean Phantom?”. “Phantom?” reply Rinko in state of confusion.
“Some people possess magical potential. They're called Gates. The magical beings born from stealing the lives of Gates are called Phantoms.” explain Haruto to Rinko in more details.
Meanwhile,Inside the unknown building.
Minotauros walk through the hallway then stop his move because he sense someone he knows. “Lord Phoenix.” said Minotauros while bowing to Phoenix. Phoenix then jump from the top of the stairways and began having a small talk about Minotauros's action early at the warehouse. “You went to far as to summon Ghouls and still failed? Seriously?” Phoenix exclaimed as he transform to his human form. “A magician appeared. He got in my way.” Minotauros reply then someone are standing behind he and Phoenix and saying to Minotauros “Was it Wizard?”. Minotauros turn his back and then bow to her while saying “Lady Medusa!”. “We Phantoms are tasked with making Gates to falling into despair, which will create new Phantoms. All so that Wiseman can once again perform the Sabbath.” Medusa exclaimed as she transform to her human form. Mintauros seemed understand to Medusa's word and his reply “I understand.” to her. “If that's the case, forget about the magician and find a Gates to sacrifice.” order Phoenix to Minotauros and in respond to Phoenix's order Minotauros relpy “Yes,sir.”. Then, Minotauros walk out of the building to begin he search for a Gates.
In the same time with Rinko and Haruto.
“So, since the Phantoms attack Gates, does that mean one of the worker here is a Gates?.” question Rinko to Haruto seemingly getting know the whole situation . Haruto respond to Rinko's questions by saying “Probably.”. “Wait, there's a more pressing issue here.” demanded Rinko as she see Haruto walk away from the warehouse. “Why can you use magic?” asked Rinko to Haruto. Haruto simply state with relaxed tone stated “Because I have a Phantom inside me,too.”. Rinko hearing what Haruto just saying then pause for a moment while Haruto the continue the walk to finding the Phantom. Suddenly, Rinko grab Haruto's arm which catching him off guard. Then, Rinko pull out her handcuffs to arrest Haruto. Haruto in state of confused asked “Why?!” to Rinko.
Meanwhile,At Omokagedo.
Koyomi see the whole situation just occur sighed. Then, Wajima-san asked to Koyomi “What's is the matter,Koyomi?” while drinking his green tea. “Haruto was arrested.” reply Koyomi. Wajima-san then split out the green tea his drank earlier because shock when he heard the news about Haruto. “A....Arrested?” exclaimed Wajima-san to Koyomi about Haruto.
At Toriizaka Police Station.
“Hey, Rinko. Isn't locking me up a bit to much?” asked Haruto who is inside the lockup to Rinko. Rinko then respond to Haruto words with “You smell like nothing but trouble.” Haruto then reply “You think so? That almost sounds like a compliment to me.” to Rinko as he think she is flirting to him. Rinko start a bit annoyed about what Haruto just said decide to interrogation Haruto. “Well then, Soma Haruto. I'll ask you some questions about Phantoms.” question Rinko to Haruto. Haruto in he normal mood saying “Hey,Rinko” but get cutoffs from Rinko by stating “It's Detective to you.” to him.
Haruto then sit down on the floor while saying “Do you planning on fighting Phantoms, right?”. Rinko reply “Of course, I am. Protecting people is my job.” to Haruto. “Only magicians can take them on.” stated Haruto to Rinko about the Phantoms. Rinko after hearing what Haruto just told to her then say “You point? You want me to just give up?!” with disbelieve tone to Haruto. “You want me, as police officer, to just watch people suffer? Should I sit here, powerless?” continue Rinko. Haruto is surprise about what Rinko just said to him. Rinko pause of few second to calm down herself then she continue the conversation with Haruto. “Being a magician must be great. You can do anything with magic, so you'd have no reason to despair” exclaimed Rinko to Haruto.
Haruto hearing what Rinko start having a flashback about the Sabbath accident. At that time, Haruto saw an eclipse and then the peoples around him had start to fell into despair and became a Phantoms. One by one, they change to Phantoms and Haruto release his wings as his slowly became a Phantoms. Haruto then raised his hand to the eclipse while said to himself “I...I...”. Suddenly, as his grasped his hand, the light came out inside his body.
Haruto stare at a wall after having flashback about what happpen to him. He then snap back to continue the conversation by said “Having magic is what make us not despair”. Rinko is confuse about what Haruto said reply “What?” to him. “I gained the ability to use magic because I didn't fall into despair.” exclaimed Haruto to Rinko. “What do you mean?” questioning Rinko to Haruto seemingly didn't get what the meaning of Haruto's word. Rinko then said “You're speaking nonsense again.” to Haruto seem to lost about the mean of Haruto's word. “Whatever. I'll solve this case even without the magic.” exclaimed Rinko with full of determination. “I'm not falling into the despair that easily .” continue Rinko. Haruto seeing this pure determination from Rinko said “That's good. But if you ever do fall into despair.” while slowly walk close to her. Then, Haruto raise his right arm with his Driver Ring do the fist bump hand said “I will give you hope.” to Rinko. This make Rinko blushing after hearing what Haruto just say to her while saying “Huh? What is that.”to Haruto
Suddenly, that conversation is interrupt by Detective Amino who want to ask Rinko. He had an injury his head at the warehouse they got recently.“Daimon, a word.” he said to Rinko. Rinko know this must be urgent thing then said “Stop talking nonsense and sit there quietly.”. She then leave with Detective Amino to have a discussion outside leaving Haruto alone inside lockup. Haruto then sit down to the floor while saying “Now,what to do?”. After Haruto sit down, he fill something that make his heart feel unpleasant something his never feel after he became Kamen Rider Wizard. “Why I feel worried about what will happen to Rinko?”
Unknown to Haruto, his feeling about what happen to Rinko will became true.
